Oddisee

Oddisee is destined for greatness. This MC/Producer from DMV has worked with and been cosigned by the some major forces in the industry. You all may remember him from his first commercial appearance on Dj Jazzy Jeff’s 2002 release The Magnificent, in which he produced and spit on the cool out track, Musik Lounge. Hot 97 Radio Show Host, Peter Rosenburg recently posted a mixtape called “A Rosenberg Oddisee” of tracks featuring MCs he personally recruited to spit over Oddisee beats. He’s also worked with Jean Grae, J Live, Wordworth, Little Brother, and Saigon. Listen to our interview with this talent!

Homeboy Sandman

Art has always, when its good, got to be about looking at something from a different angle. It forces you to look through a different lens, growing and feeding us. Our guest gets that. He plays with music. Ever Dynamic, the consummate M.C. this Artist has been featured in the Source’s “Unsigned Hype” column and was voted Best Hip Hop Act by The NY Press. He has two albums out right now, Nourishment (Second Helpings) and his latest Actual Factual Pterodactyl which dropped this summer. Not to be forgotten is the 33 track mixtape “There is no spoon.” And if that’s not enough to convince you of the truth of this dudes talent, Check out his live kinetic performances, or his over 200 youtube vids, one of which has him legit freestylin for 10 minutes (Absurd?) at J records. Id like to introduce Homeboy Sandman…
