Christian Bindah, Aka Soular235, has been in the game for over 20 years. He released mix tapes and albums such as  ”The highlands volume 1″, “25 Fatal”, “Soular energy”, “Tears Of Glory” and recent album released in Feb 2011 “Rock Bottom”. This outstanding artist, born in Queens Bridge and raised in Brooklyn, has sat down with Encore Status Entertainment and talked about his journey thus far in the hip hop industry.

With the recent explosion of Nicki Minaj it has become more and more apparent that the music industry has void that needs to be filled. I’ve seen a few underground female MCs that haven’t gotten the attention they deserve for a myriad of reasons. I personally believe its because even though they were talented, they weren’t naked enough — but that’s a controversial topic for another post.
I really hope this young, HARDWORKING, talented artist by the name of Deena Jonez can open peoples eyes. I got her mixtape ‘Memoirs of a Libra’ by email and was impressed by the Brooklyn native. She definitely Reps Kings County, BROOKLYN to the fullest with a futuristic and diverse approach. Her heart and soul is in every track. She just released her next album Kings County which didn’t disappoint us one bit.

The Kid Gashi

Every once in awhile you’ll find an artist whose talent is so raw yet rich, you have stop what you’re doing? You just have to sit there in awe, because what you’re hearing is something more than “potential”…you’re hearing destiny. When I heard The Kid Gashi‘s demo, I felt this very way. I didn’t know much about Gashi until after I interviewed him. By the end of the call, “The Kid” was able to convince me that this was more than just a phase, and his talent will evolve season to season. This Albanian-African born artist reppin’ Brooklyn will be a force to reckon with we guarantee it!…Listen to his tracks and our interview below. ‘No Shortcuts’ and ‘In My Life Time’ are off of his demo. Artist Sagittarius Black participates in the AIDS walk every year with his mom who contracted the disease a year before he was born. She’s performed alongside KRS-One, Akil the MC (Jurassic 5), Supernatural, Talib Kweli. She’s also done studio projects with Sizzla and The Pharcyde. Her talents are known both in the US and internationally, so if you don’t know her, get familiar by listening to our interview with her.
