Must Wear: Encore Dunk Highs

Posted by Tricia Status On February - 17 - 2011

Thanks to the good salespeople at Nike Town in NYC, I was able to design the Encore Dunk Highs. Truthfully: @MickeyFactz has been pulling off gold kicks for years. I have no doubt I’ll be turning heads in these gold metallics, just as he has.

Cilli Puddie encourages individuality

Posted by Tricia Status On October - 21 - 2010

cp Work

According to Cilli Puddie co-founder, Aamarii Williams, “If you can pick 3 things that normally deter people from chasing their dreams or true happiness, the words on the t-shirts are the most common answers…” If you are not familiar with his latest line of tees, he’s referring to CRITICS, LOVE, WORK… Werd son…I say forget all of them, right? No . Williams doesn’t necessarily mean to brashly blow critics, love, and work off. He really wants people to make sure those things don’t mold you.

“We decided to create this line we made sure we would send the message LOUD and CLEAR to everyone that’s listening. Never let anything interfere with your happiness, goals, or how you envision yourself. Mold Yourself! Everything and everyone around us has inspired the team to collaboratively create the clothing line.. We realized the market was craving for something that spoke to real issues, something that encouraged individuality, so we used our fashion sense to convey that using clothing as a vehicle.”

Cilli Puddie was founded in 2008 by a group of designers that wanted to make sure consumers remembered to express themselves. Silly Putty was something that allowed the user to be as imaginative as they wanted to be, using the clay as a vehicle for expressing themselves. After tweaking the Silly Putty to Cilli Puddie, they created a brand name whose goal is to remind us that we have a hand in creating our happiness.

Two headed Teddy

Posted by Tricia Status On September - 12 - 2010

So as some of you might know, I have a couple of God Kids coming. While reading through some posts on HighSnobette.com I found another perfect gift. This Two headed Teddy would be so…great (I think). With the baby shower fastly approaching I was very worried that I wouldn’t be able to find a gift. I’m so relieved! I can’t wait to order!

Final Outlaw performs “Machine”

Posted by Tricia Status On August - 30 - 2010

A couple weeks ago, Encore Status made it to Hip Hop Evolution 3. It was definitely a great show. The love for Hip Hop at Soapstone gallery was so intense you could feel it.  Final Outlaw performed and crushed it. He performed a some “old” stuff and new song from his up coming project Unstoppable Love. In the video below he performs “Machine,” a song that will be on that album. He will be shooting a video for the song with Janelle Ryan in September. (P.S. they are still casting so if you are interested please hit her up).

More videos of the night are coming soon.

Belly Buds for your unborn baby

Posted by Tricia Status On August - 25 - 2010

All my friends are pregnant. Including the guys.

.

With that said, I go to a lot of baby showers (sigh). I’m always stressed because I can never find the “perfect” gift. I’d use the “registry” …but who am I Santa? Making me lists and what not. Yesterday, however, I found THE perfect gift. With yet another god child on the way (he will be number 4), I’ll get these bad boys and play him all the music on my ipod (and I mean all of it).

.

Tito…you wont be born before Kanye album drop, but don’t worry…Imma play it for you on the belly bud. (Explicit version when your mommy sleeping….shhhhh)

Posted by Tricia Status On August - 24 - 2010

My father can’t grow a lick of facial hair. Because he cant grow hair on his face instead looking 50 sometimes he looks 15 (I may be exaggerating…but he looks fairly young). Fashion designer Taraduff has solved my dad’s problems (I think). Please take a look at these bearded beanies and lumber jack hats. Thanks! My dad really needed this o_0

Please purchase these at his store on Etsy.

Is it me or are all of my friends married or getting married? All I can do is sit here and day dream about the day I get proposed to. If Mr. Right comes around, I hope he gets me the illest ring ever. Here’s a picture of that ring (Mr. Right please take notes). In the picture below is a Ken & Dana Organic Carmentes Engagement Ring. Its beautiful curvaceous style is inspired by the architecture of Antoni Gaudi.

Must Wear: DJC Existence holsters

Posted by Tricia Status On June - 29 - 2010

Guys and Gals,
If you missed the “Brooklyn Style” fashion show last Saturday, you missed some great designers. Devin Cole, graduate of Pratt Institute, had some breath taking print couture. We’ll try to have a few of those pieces up on video for the site if we get a chance to link up with her later on this summer. We got a chance to talk to her after the show she gave us the heads up that she’s into creating accessories. Check out these amazing holsters. Ladies…We can still go out in a tank top and be fashionable with the addition of a holster.

Check out her website if you would like to order!>> DJCexistence
