What inspires your jewelry and your creativity in general?
Creativity for me is a very necessary part of my life- it sustains me and gets me up in the morning. I think there are a million ways to express ones creativity..For me, it is important to surround myself with as much harmony and beauty as possible..whether that means reading a wide variety of books, magazines- seeing all sorts of films- plays- traveling around the block & around the world- just absorbing as much visual information as you can- and then- I feel like what I am here to do is to process that information and create a hybrid of my experiences to share with my customers. I think the most important way to be creative (or smart and interesting) is to have a solid sense of history as it relates to fashion, politics or the world in general..I think that I am able to do that well because I have a strong art history back ground- as well as a general interest in what’s happened in the world before my generation got here and what direction we’re headed in.

Besides the jewelry and the hair pieces do you make anything else?
I make just about everything- I really enjoy accessories not just for oneself- but also for their home and everything that makes up ones “environment”.
What are your goals for your line?
Ideally I would like to have a (full) lifestyle brand that would be a go to brand for classic, one of a kind..pieces.
