Jersey native’s soft remedy beats with a sick flow allow your mind and body
to be taken elsewhere easily. Rapping is obviously an art, and consciously
knowing how to flow over a beat is essential. 8thW1′s execution is tight.
His word play is imaginative – he can spit a line that puts you so in the
zone you miss just about everything that’s said afterward. He’s that good.

Did I mention his song “Random Thoughts” (which you can listen to for
yourself on 8thW1′s Myspace page <http://www.myspace.com/8thw1> ) reminds meof “Dying” by Weezy? His lyrics run the spectrum of love, money, and politics, while having swagger that is a vicious combination of N.O.R.E. and Kanye West. He gives you knowledge with a bit of sarcasm and cockiness, awinning formula for any rap artist.

8ThW1 will let you know straight-up, he flows what he knows. He rhymes then brags later about not having to write a single word. Should we be impressed or concerned? Being able to spit off the dome is a talent only a few possess. Jay-Z, Biggie, and Lil Wayne – just to name a few – are amongst the elite who can successfully execute an unwritten rhyme. What we’re left to wonder is whether or not 8thW1 has what it takes to match the skills of
these greats. Judging by what I’ve heard so far, all I can say is keep doing
what you doing kid, because whatever you’re doing, you’re doing it well.
